Eminent Chartered Accountant & Industrial Consultant CA Julfesh Shah has been nominated as Chairman of Chamber of Small Industry Associations(COSIA), Vidarbha Chapter.COSIA is a federation of Industrial Associations PAN India level & is having networking with Chambers of trade & industry throughout India.
COSIA’s objective is to to bring the MSMEs in India under one umbrella and to address their issues effectively at National as well as State levels.It also acts as a vital link between MSMEs and unemployed youth by conducting Skill Development Activities with an aim to provide Skilled Work force for MSMEs & to assist in making Indian MSMEs globally competitive.It takes initiative to promote entrepreneurship among the different sections of the society.
COSIA ,Vidarbha which was established 3 years back with Late Shri Mayank Shukla as its Chairman & CA Julfesh Shah as Vice Chairman has emerged as one of the most vibrant chapters & is taking initiatives on several fronts for addressing various issues of the industry.
In order to update the MSMEs about latest developments in various relevant fields, COSIA Vidarbha has been organising Seminars,Webinars, Workshops, Conferences on various important topics like various Government Schemes and Subsidies, Technological developments, Changes in various laws, technical training,emerging areas as well as topics of industrial importance.Â
COSIA has been collaborating with local and regional Associations as well as Government Organisations for conducting several events.It played a leading role in promoting various useful Government Policies and schemes like Udyog Aadhaar, Mudra, Lean Manufacturing Competitiveness Scheme, Innovation facilitation, Energy Efficiency, GST Implementation & Awareness, SMILE (SIDBI), Skilling, NSIC Services and Schemes, Priority Lending to MSMEs, EPFO, BMO Accreditation,Foreign Trade,Labour Welfare etc.as well as other knowledge and awareness sessions for the benefit of MSMEs.
On his taking over as Chairman,CA Julfesh Shah said that he will continue to raise various issues of MSMEs & Industry & would organise various programs for updating & create awareness about the new happenings with a strong support of all team members.
