On the momentous day of July 3, 2021, Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar witnessed its 2nd Virtual Investiture Ceremony of the School Council 2021-2022.
The deserving young talents of Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.
The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school cabinet.
Arwa Vali was selected as the School Captain whereas, Tanvi Jham was chosen as the Vice- Captain of the school for the year 2021-2022.
The Ceremony began with a prayer song asking God to keep his guiding light shining upon everyone.
The selected candidates received their sash and badge from their parents and grandparents who they looked up to for the various qualities they possessed. This
was followed by the pledge where the members promised to follow the motto of their houses and to keep the school flag soaring higher.
The School Captain and the Vice-Captain along with the four house Captains delivered their speeches where each spoke what best described them and what theywould like to imbibe from their role models.
This solemn ceremony was adorned by the graceful presence of Mrs. Mukta Chatterjee, Executive Director, Centre Point Group of Schools, Ms. Sudeshna Chatterjee and Ms. Kavita Chopra, special invitees from Lighthouse Learning Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, Mrs. Sumathi Venugopalan, Ex-Principal, Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar, Mrs. Kanchan Ukey, Principal, Centre Point School, Vice Principals, teachers and parents.
The ceremony was truly powerful and even on the virtual platform one could feel the emotions behind the whole programme.
Mrs. Kanchan Ukey, Principal, Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar congratulated the students and advised them to be role models and render their responsibilities sincerely by inculcating the values of
dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow.
