In another major reshuffle, three IAS officers from the Nagpur District have been changed. Vimala R IAS (2009) has been appointed as Collector, Nagpur replacing Ravindra Thakare.
Prior to her appointment as the new Collector appointment, Vimala R was Mission Director Jal Jeevan Mission, Government of Maharashtra. She was also appointed as Chief Executive Officer Government of Maharashtra (GoM) from Aug 2016 – Aug 2020 Navi Mumbai where she worked for the empowerment of women through community-based organizations like self-help groups and village organizations.

Other officials who have been transferred are Jalaj Sharma, IAS (2014) Additional Municipal Commissioner, Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur has been posted as Collector, Dhule.
Manisha Khatri, IAS (2014) Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development, Nagpur has been posted as Collector, Nandurbar
