The Sports and Youth Affairs Department of Government Maharashtra to organise district sports awards.
The department, regularly rewards sports persons and organisers with district sports awards in order to boost the confidence of players and coaches so that they perform much better in future. This year, too, the awards will be given through District Sports Offices.
Those who have performed well in the past season will be eligible for the award. They can apply for the same at District Sports Office, Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur before July 20.
The application should be submitted in a sealed envelop. Coaches who are resident of Nagpur for past 15 years and have coaching experience for 10 years can apply for the awards.
Similarly, sportspersons who have represented district for two years in recognised sports can apply for the award. More details can be had on
