Months after filing a sexual assault case against nine Bollywood celebs the 28-year-old model, Apeernah, has been receiving death threats after Mumbai police refused to take action against 9 Bollywood celebrities.
The model had filed a complaint at the Bandra police station and an FIR was registered on May 26. Accusing the police of inaction, she said that her perpetrators should be held responsible if anything unnatural was to happen to her before the case was concluded. She had named photographer Colston Julian, actor Jackky Bhagnani, Krishan Kumar (T-series), Nikhil Kamat, Sheel Gupta, Ajit Thakur, Gurjot Singh, Vishnu Induri and Anirban Blah (Kwan Entertainment) in the FIR.
“I have blocked hundreds of fake accounts and have reported some as they had rather explicit pics and wordings as well as triggering usernames like @bitchurdead887, @terimaak231__, or something like @bulletzngunzz. I told the investigating officer regarding the death threats being sent after I registered the FIR against these high-profile men. He suggested I visit the nearest police station to register a fresh case. But I am not willing to visit the police station again as it took me weeks to register the first FIR and none of the accused has been arrested till now,†the model informed a leading newspaper.
In her recent Instagram post the model shared “BTW the so called “high profile men are still sending me death threats indirectly using violent pictures and videos on Instagram (via dm and tags) I’ve blocked hundreds of these fake accounts and have reported some as they had rather explicit pics and wordings as well as triggering usemames like @bitchurdead887 @terimaak231 or something @bulletzngunzz or something like that my hand is shaking as I type this. I’ve informed the police about some of this but they’ve asked to go to the nearest police station and register another FIR but I don’t have that kind of patience and energy mas I remember how it took me 3 weeks of running around them to get them to register the first one and therefore I just wanted to let everyone know that IF ANYTHING UNNATURAL HAPPENS TO ME BEFORE THE FINAL JUDGMENT COMES OUT AND EVEN AFTER THAT the MOB/ men I’ve named le GURPREET SINGH, SHEEL GUPTA, NIKHIL KAMATH GURJOT SINGH, AJIT THAKUR, KRISHAN KUMAR, VISHNU INDURI, THE MORANIS(because of their strong affiliation with most of them), COLSTON JULIAN SUHEL SETH, JACKKY BHAGNANI ANIRBAN BLAH WILL BE COMPLETELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAME AS I HAVE NO OTHER ENEMIES in the world who’d like to harm me as bad as these people whom I’ve shown way too much kindness than they ever deserved out of pity (and maybe fear that I don’t have anymore)â€.
In an Instagram post on April 12, Apernah revealed how she was she was physically and emotionally abused by Julian Colston during a work assignment.
