Dr. Shubhangi Bagdey Khandekar from the orange city has won the title of ‘Mrs Brave and Beautiful’ in the Mediqueen Mrs Maharashtra Beauty Pageant Season-2.
She won the title while recovering from a major surgery she underwent just a fortnight ago, which reflects her grit and determination.
Dr Prerna Beri Kalekar, Chief Organiser, and Dr Prajakta Shah, Show Co-ordinator, conducted the audition of female doctors from all over Maharashtra for the Mediqueen pageant. This year, it was the second season of the contest.
Almost 300 contestants from across Maharashtra participated. Of them, 40 doctors were selected for the finale. Out of these 40 contestants, Dr Shubhangi Bagdey Khandekar was crowned as ‘Mrs Brave and Beautiful’ in the Mediqueen Mrs Maharashtra Beauty Pageant Season-2. Noted actor Sameer Dharmadhikari, Dr.Kanchan Madar, Dr Meenakshi Desai, Dr Ashwani Patil, ‘Miss International Dubai’ Puja Magli were the juries for the event.
