The app which is available on Google Playstore will also have voice-enabled navigation for the in-app journey to simplify the experience.

Saurabh Tandon, Chief Operating Officer, BetterPlace said, “BetterPlace is India’s largest platform for the Blue-collared workforce. Building on the essence of our brand, we wanted to create a platform that is safe and seamless for the blue-collared employees. The pandemic has been turbulent for all of us across the globe, and we have all learned the value of support and solidarity. Covid-19 has magnified the need for the focus on blue-collared workforce. BetterPlace does that by matching employers and blue-collared employees thus boosting job growth and economy by extension.”

He further added, “We wanted to offer a meaningful platform for the blue-collared job seekers, to explore work opportunities. The mobile app consists of more than 10 lakh verified job opportunities – a plethora of options for job seekers to choose from. However, in this transformed time, we recognize that we need to go beyond facilitating employment; therefore the service extends to areas like upskilling.”

Since the onset of the pandemic, the country, and its people have seen a steep fall in the employment sector.
