Aswathi Dorje has been appointed as new joint police commissioner (JCP) of the city on Monday.
After the retirement of JCP Ravindra Kadam, the post remained vacant for 13 months. On Monday, transfer and promotion list of 14 senior officers was issued. In which, Aswathi Dorje has been posted as JCP of the city.
Meanwhile, the special police inspector general of Nagpur Chiranjiv Prasad has been promoted as additional director general police of State Reserve Police Force (Mumbai).
He will be replaced by Chhering Dorje as special police inspector general of Nagpur.
