On the occasion of 75th year of Indian Independence, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to create ‘Vande Mataram’ garden on one lakh square ft land in Empress Mills premises.
The garden would be dedicated to martyrs, ex-servicemen, widows and their dependants.
Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari recently met Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh and discussed the concept ofVande Mataram with him. Defence Minister appreciated his concept. NMC Commissioner, Radhakrishna B, former MP Ajay Sancheti and others were also present.
