11 drown in Wardha river in Amravati district

At least 11 people are feared to be drowned in the Wardha river after their boat capsized on Tuesday morning. The incident happened at Shri Kshetra Jhunj under Benoda Shaheed Police Station Amravati district at around 10 am.

The bodies of three people have been found. Police has begun search and rescue operation.

According to prior information, the boat capsized and all eleven drowned, this includes sister, brother, son-in-law. Meanwhile, the villagers rushed to the river to rescue.
