Tension prevailed among locals when a leopard was found in the premises of Acharya Vinoba Bhave rural Hospital in Sawangi, Wardha on Monday morning.
The hospital staff spotted the leopard on the roof of the hospital. As a precautionary measure, the hospital administration closed the doors and windows of the hospital and informed the police along with the forest department.
Upon receiving information the forest officials rushed to the spot and found that the leopard was sitting on a tree.
According to the information, the forest official team began a search and rescue operation. However, the leopard has entered the drainage system.
The leopard attacked a man as well. Further details awaited.
