A Woman Police Constable (WPC) of Nagpur Police allegedly ended her life by hanging at her Pipla Fata based house on late Thursday night, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Ashwini Khandagle, a resident of Laxmi Narayan Nagar, Pipla Fata.
According to sources, Ashwini was going through some tense phase in her life this must have attributed her to take the extreme step.
Ashwini was discovered hanging with a hook attached to the roof at her house. She is survived by a husband, who works as Police Constable with BSF Bihar, and 18-month-old daughter. Cops, in the meantime have registered an offence of accidental death and investigating further.
