Nagpur Municipal Corporation & Orange City Water, following its commitment of providing clean & safe water to every household has started its yearly ESR Cleaning drive for year 2021.
Every year NMC-OCW undertakes cleaning of storage Tanks i.e Elevated Service Reservoirs(ESR’s), Master
Balancing Reservoirs(MBR’s) , Ground Service Reservoirs(GSR’s) and Sump Tanks. This is a major part of the endeavor to supply good quality potable water to the citizens of Nagpur.
On Monday, 24th November,2021 (Wednesday) it is planned to clean Ram Nagar ESR , On Thursday , 25th
November –Ram Nagar GSR, on 26th November –Dabha ESR from Dharampeth zone will be cleaned.
Areas to remain affected on 24 th
(Wednesday) from Ram Nagar ESR are:
RamNagar ESR: Gokulpeth, Tilak Nagar, Ramnagar, Telangkhedi, P & T Colony, Sanjay Nagar single line, Hindustan colney, Bharat Nagar, Pandhrabodi, Ambhazari slum, Ajay Nagar, Verma lay out, Deotale lay out, Samata lay out, Sudam Nagari, Mahatma fule slum, Bajiprabhu nagar, Ambhazari lay out.
Areas to remain affected on 25h (Thursday) from RamNagar GSR are:
Ram Nagar GSR : Hill Road, Gandhi Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Khare Town, Bhagwa ghar Lay out, Trikoni Park, Daga lay out, Kachipura MSEB slum, Shankar Nagar, Dandige lay out, Corporation Colony.
Areas to remain affected on 26th (Friday ) from Dabha ESR are:
Dabha ESR : Jagdish nagar, Makard hokda, Ganganagar, Gayatri Nagar, Chintaman Nagar, Bhivsenkhori,Gautam
Nagar, whole Hazari pahad, Asha balwadi, Krushna Nagar, Saroj Nagar, Rachna sayantara , Manohar vihar, Shri.purna society,welcome society, Nasheman society, Dumre layout etc.
Dabha vasti, Govt. Press society, Kachimet, kothari chikali layout, Thakre layout, Shivhare layout, Ganesh Nagar,
Woodland society, gurudatta society, aadiwasi society
The citizens living in these areas are requested to take a note that, it may not be possible to supply water even
through Tankers during the period of cleaning and till the resumption of supply through House service taps.
NMC-OCW has appealed citizens to store sufficient water for their use as tanker supply will also not be possible & co-operate.
