Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, in association with Sarjana Nirman, will organize the 29th session of its Lecture Series on the Appreciation of Paintings and Sculptures on Saturday, June 27, at 6:15 p.m. at Ameya Dalan, fourth floor, Cultural Complex of Vidarbha Sahitya Sangh, Sitabuldi.
Keeping in view the significance of Tantric philosophy and worship in Indian culture, the theme of this special lecture session will be “Tantra Spandan – Resonance of Tantric Art.”
During the programme, artist Milind Limbekar will speak on the works of renowned painter K. C. S. Paniker. Prof. Vinod Chavan, a scholar of art history, will present an appreciation of the paintings of G. R. Santosh, while artist and art critic Prof. Chandrakant Channe will discuss the works of Biren De.
The organizers have appealed to art students, artists, art enthusiasts, and citizens to attend the programme in large numbers.
