Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has organised All India Poets’ Gathering on December 25 in Gandhibag garden from 6 pm to midnight to mark Amrut Mahotsava Year, birth anniversary of Bharatratna Atal Behari Vapayee, former Prime Minister, and renovation day of the garden.
Prominent poets from the country including Tejnarayan Sahrma, Morena, Akhilesh Dwivedi, Prayagraj, Sandip Sharma, Dhar (all humourous poets), Bhumika Bhumi, Agra, (Geet Ghazal), Kamal Agneya (Oja), Lucknow, and Amit Sharma (Veerras), Noeda, will recite their compositions, also on national feelings.
Dayashankar Tiwari, Mayor, has appealed to the citizens to attend the programme in large numbers.
