Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University has successfully conducted 98 examinations of winter 2021, despite several difficulties. The examinations were of final year of all the subjects, except post-graduate degree courses. Friday is the last day of these examinations in the first phase. The examinations started on December 14.
The second phase of examinations will begin on January 9, 2022.
Director of Examinations and Evaluation Prof Prafulla Sable stated that the examinations were conducted on-line, even when demand for conducting them off-line was received. As the hostels were not available and the outstation students were facing problems in getting rooms on rent, the exams were conducted in on-line manner only.
The university has tentatively fixed April 10 for the summer examinations of those having backlog. The regular examinations are likely to be held from May 10.
The on-line teaching for the next semester has already begun on December 10.
RTMNU is leading among all the universities in the state, in conducting on-line classes and examinations.
