Uddhav Thackeray frustrated due to loss of position: Fadnavis

Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray should stop talking about Hindutva and abusing Bharatiya Janata Party. He is frustrated as in recent local authority elections the party is pushed to fourth position after their alliance partner Nationalist Congress Party and Congress. This was stated by Leader of Opposition and forme Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Replying to the speech by Thackeray on birth anniversary of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray on Sunday, Fadnavis said that BJP respects Balasaheb for his vision and determination. By Uddhav Thackeray should not forget that he could not generate even a tweet from Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi paying tributes on his father’s birth anniversary. Uddhav should not forget the history of his party that Shiv Sena members Manohar Joshi first won election on BJP ticket. In UP elections of 1993 they fielded 180 seats, of which 179 lost their deposits. In 2002 all 39 candidates in UP elections had lost their deposits.

Fadnavis also said that Shiv Sena has been claiming credit of demolition of Babri Mosque. But he should not forget that BJP workers faced cane charge and bullets. He alleged Uddhav Thackeray of making selective speaking. He was expected to talk about corruption in the state, situation in the state, position of the party.

Fardanvis alleged that Thackeray is frustrated due to loss of credibility of the party in the state.

Balasabheb Thackeray had taken steps to make alliance with BJP. When Uaddhav makes a statement that his party was rotten for these many years with BJP, he is insulting his own father.

Under the leaders of Prime Minister Narendra Modi decision to reconstruct Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was taken. Shiv Sena should not forget BJP’s role in the nation and stop double standard on Hindutva, he alleged.
