District Setu Centre to remain close from Feb 1

From February 1, the Setu Kendra in the district collectorate will be closed. In this regard, district collector R Vimala urged people and students to utilise the online option provided by the city’s ‘Aaple Sarkar’ portal to earn various credentials.

172 people are currently online. Aaple Sarkar service centres have been established in Nagpur. These service centres can provide caste certificates, non-creamy certificates, age, domicile, nationality certificates, income certificates, EW certificates, and affidavit applications.

If people have online facility, government has provided portal http://aaplesarkar.mahao nlinegov.in for various cer tificates. People can get the certificates while sitting at homes.

Considering the out break of coronavirus dis ease and possible third wave, office work has to be carried out as per the guidelines given by the government. Citizens and students should apply at the nearest ‘Aaple Sarkar’ service centre or avail the online facility without rushing to the District Setu Kendra.

If there is any problem or complaint while applying at the online centre, it should be reported to Harish Iyer, district infor mation and technology officer, information tech nology department, dis trict collectorate or to Setu District Setu Centre, said officer-in-charge Setu and deputy collector Hema Bade.
