The passengers in trains will now be supplied linen and blankets and curtains inside the train. The facility available before Covid 19 pandemic, has been restored.
During the Covid 19 pandemic various facilities were withdrawn by the Rail Ministry, a measure to prevent spread of the viral infection.
On Thursday a notification has been issued by Vipul Singh, Director, Passenger Marketing of the Railway Board, withdrawing the early condition of ‘No linen, blankets and curtains shall be provided inside the train’.
The notification also states tpo ensure that the facilities are provided inside the trains.
