NEET-PG 2021 cut-off relaxed by 15 precent

The Cut-off for NEET PG 2021 has been reduced by 15 percent by the Director General of Health Services. The National Board of Examinations has also been directed to revise the result and announce it afresh.

The students from the unreserved category need to secure 35 percentile marks instead of earlier 50. The PH category needs 30 percentile, while SC, ST and OBC category students need 25 percentile.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in consultation with the National Medical Commission has decided to reduce the cut-off across all categories.

The date of announcing the revised result has not been mentioned as yet. The National Medical Commission has also an age cap for those appearing for NEET-UG 2022, which was 25 years for the unreserved category and 30 for the reserved category.
