The students from standard I to VIII in Maharashtra will get school uniforms free of cost.
The announcement was made by the School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad on Tuesday.
The details of the implementation of the announcement and schools covered under the scheme were not available. The issue will be clear after notification in this connection is issued.
