The special committee constituted to enquire about alleged harassment by PhD guide and RRC members in RTM Nagpur University, has started its enquiry on Thursday. The Committee is headed by retired Principal Judge of Family Court Meera Khadakkar.
The Committee has started recording statements of persons connected including the Dean of Humanities Faculty and some University officers.
The enquiry may require about 15 days. The report will be submitted by the Committee of four members, after that.
The issue pof harassment of two girl research scholars was raised by Senate and Management Council member Vishnu Changde.
Many more such cases are likely to come to the fore during the enquiry.
