SCZCC to organise Brahmanaad on Apr 10; Pt Jalit to play violin 

South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) has organised “Brahmanaad” programme on April 10 (Sunday) in its premises in Civil Lines, Opp MLA Hostel, here at 6.30 am, under Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava. 

Pandit Vasant Mahadevrao Jalit, a renowed artiste from Wardha, will play violin to regale the audience. He took initial lessons in classical music from his father Late Mahadevrao Jalit and in violin playing from Pt V G Jog. He has done MA in Hindusthani Music. 

Pandit Vasant Jalit is a well-known artiste of All India Radio. He received many awards and was also honoured at the hands of the President in 2009. He participated in many concerts in different parts of the country in which prominent artistes displayed their talents and skills. 

The donation coupon for entry is Rs 50 per head. The coupons will be made available at the spot on the day of the event. SCZCC has appealed to art lovers to take part in the programme in large numbers.
