Chandrapur, Akola and Wardha sizzled on Tuesday when they recorded maximum temperature of 44.8 degrees Celcius. Brahmapuri closely followed them by registering 44.7 degrees C today. They are the hot places in Vidarbha region during the past two days.

Chandrapur, Akola and Brahmapuri registered the temperature of 44.2 degrees C on Monday while the figure crossed 40 degrees C mark yesterday. Chandrapur and Brahmapuri had also experienced temperature of 44.2 degrees C on Sunday also while Akola wand Wardha were at 43.6 degrees C. There is not a single district in the region that has registered temperature less than 40 degrees C today.

Following are the temperature figures in C at other places on Tuesday: Amravati – 43.4, Washim – 43.0, Gondia – 43.2, Washim – 43.0, Buldana – 41.5 and Gadchiroli – 40.6.
