Light showers on Thursday evening were a pleasant relief for Nagpurians, who were braving scorching heat for the last few days. A couple of days were more problematic with the rise in humidity in the air.
The Meteorological Department had predicted thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places in Nagpur. The city residents felt fortunate to have been included in these isolated places.
‘The Live Nagpur’ subscribers from various places around Nagpur have reported heavy showers.
A large number of Nagpurians were seen enjoying the showers. They did not search for any shed to save themselves from drenching in the pleasant weather that had developed in the evening.
Reports from the Met office were awaited till the filing of this report.
