The division-level entry process for Sports Academy and skills testing would be held on May 19 and 20. The academy selects budding players and provides them scientific training, residential facilities etc. with a view to creating them to the national and international level in handball/athletics for Nagpur, athletics for Gadchiroli, archery/judo for Amravati, boxing and athletics for Akola.
A committee of experts conducts test of the candidates having won state level awards or represented State on national level with the age below 19 years. The selected candidates would have to undergo State level test at Shiv Chhatrapati Krida Sankul, Mhalunge Balebadi, Pune, on May 30 and 31.
