The newly elected Maharashtra Legislative Council members will be administered oath in Mumbai at 12 noon on July 8, in the Council Hall, Mumbai.
The oath taking ceremony will be chaired by Deputy Chairperson Dr Neelam Gorhe.
Those who would take the oath are – Pravin Darekar, Ram Shinde, Prasad Lad, Uma Khapre and Shrikant Bharatiya (all BJP); Ramraje Naik-Nimbalkar, Eknath Khadse (NCP); Sachin Ahir, Amshya Padvi (Shiv Sena); Ashik alias Bhai Jagtap (Cong). The elections were held on June 20.
