Women Sanskrit writers’ national meet at KKSU on Wednesday

Kavikulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Language and Literature Department is organising National Sanskrit Women Writer Meet, at its premises in Ramtek, on July 13.

Internationally renowned Sanskrit Scholar and President of Sanskriti Samvardhan ani Sanshiidhan Pratishan, Mumbai Prof Kala Acharya will inaugurate the meet. Prof Shashirekha, retired professor from Osmania University, Hyderabad; Prof Shivani V, Dean Arts Faculty, Karnataka Sanskrit University, Bengaluru will be the guests of honour. Vice-Chancellor of KKSU Dr Madhusudan penna will preside over.

Prominent Sanskrit scholars will deliver lectures after the inaugural session. They include Dr Leena Rastogi and Prof Shuchita Dalal.

A discussion on Women writers from Vidarbha to Sanskrit language, their future and strengthening of Sanskrit language in ancient period, will be held.
