· Nitin Gadkari, Surface Transport Minister, to inaugurate plantation in city
National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has taken up an ambitious programme of planting one lakh saplings on a single day on Sunday all over the country to mark Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava.
The plantation programme will be inauguration at the hands of Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Surface Transport, tomorrow from the premises of LIT.
Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister, will preside over the function. Subhash Chaudhari, Vice-Chancellor, RTM Nagpur University, Nago Ganar, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Abhijit Vanjari, Praveen Datke, MLCs, Dr Nitin Raut, Krishna Khopde, Vikas Kumbhare, Mohan Mate, Vikas Thakre and Sameer Meghe, all MLAs, will be the guests of honour.
