The Chitnavis Centre in association with Maifil, Nagpur presents Classical vocal recital by Dr. Meera Nawasalkar (Amravati).
Meera is a very promising musician of this age. She was born in a traditional and religious family and was introduced to music at the age of 5. She started her training with her Grandfather late Pt. Vishnupant Nawasalkar.
Thereafter she received training from her father Pt. Kishore Nawasalkar and then from famous vocalist Prof. Kumud Hirurkar of Amravati. She is an approved B High grade artiste of All India Radio for classical vocal music.
She will be accompanied by Dr. Ram Nawasalkar on Tabla and Shri. Shyam Oza on Harmonium.
