Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Sports Festival 2022 will be held between September 19 and September 23 at the Shree Shivaji Shikshan Sanstha Amravati-run Department of Physical Education and Sports at Dhanwate National College Nagpur.
The sports festival would be set up as a day-night event for the first time. Therefore, all competitions aside from cricket will take place from 4 pm to 10 pm.
In this festival, league-style tournaments format will be held in kabaddi, volleyball, badminton (boys-girls), chess and korfball mix, basketball, football, and cricket for boys.
Cash prizes of 25000 23000 and 2000 for kabaddi, volleyball, badminton (boys and girls), chess and korfball respectively would be given away.
Similarly, cash prizes of 27000, 25000, and 23000 for football and 29000 and 27000 would be distributed.
Cricket and football tournament would be held from September 14. All other competitions will be held from September 19. Details about the tournaments can be obtained from the

The Director of the Physical Education Department of Maharaj Nagpur University Dr. Sharad Suryavanshi was present at the meeting and decided to Rashtrasant Tukdoji chalk out the tournament schedule. Also present were teachers from Physical Education Department from various colleges.
