Train passengers in winter are struggling with the cold as bedsheets and blankets are not being provided to the passengers in the special trains which have been introduced for passengers at a higher fare.
On the other hand, it is alleged that low-quality blankets are being sold at high prices at railway station stalls.
The railway administration had reduced facilities for railway passengers due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The bed sheets and blankets were not being provided in AC coaches. People are now returning to their places after the Diwali festival in large numbers. Looking at the winter season, the passengers should get bedsheets and blankets on trains.
