IT’S VICTORY TIME FOR THE CPS, AB GIRLS’ FOOTBALL TEAM

Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass’ U-17 Girls’ football team has brought laurels to the school by winning the DSO Shalaya Inter-school Football Tournament 2022. The tournament was held from 19th November to 21st November 2022 at DSO Mankapur Stadium, Nagpur.

Our team won the first match as a walkover and made an easy entry into the Pre-Quarter Final Match in which they recorded a phenomenal victory scoring 3-0. With every progressing match, the team set victory on their mind and went on to win the Quarter Final Match by 1-0. In the semi-final match after a draw, our team entered the finals through the Penalty Shootout 2-1. 

In the final match the CPS, AB team defeated Mount Carmel School with a score of 1-0. 

The winning team comprised Mahika Naidu, Ishani Ghoshal, Kshirja Sakalikar, Saoumya Chaudhary, Sonakshi Chopade, Princee Singh, Adhya Dwivedi, Saanvi Jaiswal, Lavanya Kharabe, Addya Chaudhary, Mahi Puri, Nupoor Lakhotia, Prath a Chadawar and Sufiya Ahmad. 

Also, our team has qualified for the Divisional level tournament. 

Principal, Mrs Perveen Cassad, Vice-Principal, Mrs Bhakti Bobde, mentor Mr Rahul Neware and the staff congratulated the girls and wished them success for the next level.
