After a man was brutally murdered on Sunday in the vicinity of Kamal Chowk, sensationalism took hold in the Pachpaoli neighbourhood. The murder that occurred in broad daylight has had an impact on the state’s second capital.
The deceased has been identified as Uppalwadi resident Rajesh Meshram.
Police sources claim that masked assailants struck Meshram nearby Kamal Chowk with sharp-edged weapons, killing him there and then. Following up on the information, the Pachpaoli Police team sped over to the scene and sent the body for autopsy.
Cops are yet to identify the assailants and reason behind the killing. In the meantime, Pachpaoli Police have registered a case of murder and probing further.
