On Saturday afternoon, a leopard carcass was discovered on the NH47 Saoner-Baitul road, opposite the Ashoka Petrol pump.
The Leopard was killed in an unknown car accident. The leopard’s body was taken to Dhor hospital in Saoner for a post-mortem examination.
A team of doctors from Nagpur had arrived on the scene. The forest guard Pankaj Lamse, members of the Hitjyoti Aadhar Foundation, Abhishek Bhagat, Abhishek Satpute, Police Patil from Heti, Gaharwar, Akash Anantwar, and other officials were on the scene to assist.
