Agri Summer School, an initiative of Agrimargdarshan and InFED, IIM Nagpur, is an innovative program to help youngsters learn about farming and its grit. The next generation will learn about the complete farming process through Agrimargdarshan’s Agri Summer School, a fun and engaging educational programme.

Children will develop a connection to nature and learn more about farming and how to live in the natural world. This includes sessions from seasoned experts in the agriculture industry and visits to the Central Institute of Cotton Research (CICR), Dayalu Dal Mill, Aura Conservation Park, Bharatvarsh Farm, etc. to experience practical demonstrations and learning.

Some of the prominent speakers are Dr. Bhimaraya Metri (Director at IIM, Nagpur), Dr. Suhas Buddhe (CMD Biocare India Pvt. Ltd.), Dr. Shivaji Dhawad (COO at InFED, IIM Nagpur), Dr. Pritam Chandak (Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Synapse Mind Care), Dr. Prashant Agrawal (Director at Ira Agro-tech & Research), Mr. Ambarish Ghatate (Director at Manas Ayurved & Aura Conservation Park), Mr. Manohar Bhojwani (CEO at Diet Foods International, India), Mr. Prafull Shende (Founder & MD, GBS Mushrooms), Mr. Rakesh Awchat (Director and MD at Bharatversh Farms). These professionals will impart their vast knowledge on a variety of subjects, including how to comprehend the soil, weather, water, and the process of growing a plant from a seed. They will also discuss several career options in the agricultural ecosystem.

This five-day programme is designed to help students in grades 5 through 12 learn while having a good time. Together with education, there will be fun activities like bullock cart rides, photography workshops, bird watching, cow milking, games, etc. Your child will develop personally and gain a deeper understanding of culture and mother nature.
