Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar visited Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s residence on Saturday. Former Maharashtra Minister Anil Deshmukh was with Pawar.
The visit led to a discussion on the political front. Although Pawar and Gadkari are known to have good relations and they often meet each other. The visit is considered politically important in the present political situation.
The details of the meeting between the two, however, are not known. The presence of Anil Deshmukh, who came out of jail on bail recently, is being viewed differently by political analysts. Deshmukh is facing serious charges of money laundering and extortion.
