Nagpur: The Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Crime Branch uncovered a sex racket operating under the guise of a spa in Dhantoli on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off, the SSB team raided True Relax Family Salon and Spa at Mehadia Square and discovered the illegal activities. Premlata alias Preeti alias Dolly Subhash Chinchulkar (38), a resident of the Veterinary College area, was apprehended in connection with the operation.
An FIR has been registered against Chinchulkar under the relevant sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) at Dhantoli Police Station.
The operation was carried out under the leadership of PI Kavita Isarkar, along with NPC Sheshrao Raut, PCs Kunal Masram, Sameer Sheikh, Nitin Wasane, WHC Arti Chouhan, and WPC Punam Shende.
