Nagpur experienced a sharp drop in temperatures, recording a season-low of 9.8°C on Friday morning. The chilly conditions marked the return of winter’s full force, prompting residents to bring out heavy woolens.
The relative humidity was noted at 59%, adding a slight dampness to the crisp winter air. Winds blowing from the north-northeast (NNE) at a speed of 020° contributed to the chilly atmosphere, intensifying the cold.
Weather experts predict that the current cold wave conditions will persist for the next few days, with further dips in temperature likely. Residents are advised to take precautions against the biting cold, especially during early mornings and late evenings.
