The temperature in Nagpur is experiencing fluctuations with alternating spells of heat and cold. On Tuesday, the temperature was above 11°C, while on Wednesday, it dropped to 10.2°C, which is 2°C below normal. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the temperature in Vidarbha will drop by up to 5°C in the coming three days.
Yavatmal was the coldest district
According to the Meteorological Department’s prediction, the temperature has dropped across all districts of Vidarbha. Official figures show that Yavatmal was the coldest district in Vidarbha with 9°C. Gondia followed with 9.4°C. The minimum temperature in Amravati and Buldhana districts was 9.8°C.

Weather expected to remain similar for a few days:
A cyclone is stable over central Maharashtra, which is expected to keep the weather dry for the next four to five days in central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, and Konkan. The Nagpur Meteorological Center has predicted that temperatures in most parts of the state, except for Western Maharashtra, may drop by 3 to 5°C, leading to a further increase in cold weather.
