Six achievers from Vidarbha have been invited as special guests to witness the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, on January 26, 2025. They are part of a select group of 23 invitees from Maharashtra and 10,000 distinguished guests from across the country.
The Vidarbha invitees include:
• Ms. Ishwari Dattatrya Kolhe, Ms. Dejasvartini S.M. from Nagpur, and Palash Ilamkar from Bhandara, honored under the PM Yashasvi Scheme.
• Smt. Rajini Avinash Shirke, a National Awardee from Yavatmal, representing the Maharashtra Textile (Handicrafts) category.
• Smt. Varsha Tataji Satpute from Gadchiroli and Smt. Sindhu Ramchandra Rodage from Washim, under the Maharashtra WCD (Handicrafts) category.
The special invitees are recognized for their outstanding contributions in various fields and their exemplary use of government schemes. This initiative highlights the government’s efforts to celebrate individuals from diverse sectors who have significantly contributed to society’s progress.
