Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, celebrated the 76th Republic Day on 26th January, 2025 with great enthusiasm. The celebration showcased the essence of India’s democracy, unity, and the spirit of patriotism. The event witnessed a series of thoughtful and vibrant performances by students, making it a memorable occasion.
The day began with the flag hoisting ceremony by the esteemed Principal, Mrs. Perveen Cassad, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Bhakti Bobde, accompanied by the school singing the National Anthem. The choir then presented a beautiful medley of patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with pride and devotion.
The highlight of the event was a thought-provoking skit titled “The Shield, The Spirit of the Republic,” performed by the students of Classes 6 and 7.
Adding to the patriotic fervour, the school dance troupe presented an energetic and mesmerizing performance as a tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army. Their dynamic choreography and heartfelt expressions left everyone inspired.
The event also included the launch of the school’s annual calendar by Vice Chairperson of ECPTA, Mr. Ashish Bhartia, Joint Secretary of ECPTA, Mr. Shashikant Jambhulkar, and Mr. Aditya Jain, an alumnus parent. This was followed by an inspiring speech by the Principal, Mrs. Perveen Cassad, who emphasized the importance of embracing the values enshrined in the Constitution and working towards a brighter future.
The celebration concluded on a high note with the entire school community singing the patriotic song “Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja,” symbolizing unity and determination.
