The Public Works Department (PWD), in collaboration with its Garden and Park Division, hosted the grand 50th Golden Jubilee Annual Flower Show at Vidhan Bhavan. The event was inaugurated by PWD Chief Engineer Dinesh Nandanwar and showcased a stunning display of floriculture, with 784 entries across seven categories and participation from 55 enthusiasts.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of categories, including roses, seasonal flowers, cacti, succulents, ornamental potted plants, floral arrangements, on-the-spot landscaping, and garden competitions. Major institutions such as Nagpur Raj Bhavan, VNIT, Metro Rail Corporation, and individual floriculture enthusiasts played a significant role in the event’s success.
Judged by experts like Dr. Goliwar, Dr. Save, and Dr. Shastri, the show highlighted Nagpur’s floral excellence and passion for gardening, making it a memorable milestone in its 50th year.
