The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has commenced the practical examinations for SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) students across the state. The written examinations are scheduled to begin on February 11, 2025, for HSC and February 21, 2025, for SSC. The SSC exams will continue until March 17, 2025, while the HSC exams will conclude on March 18, 2025.
Over 1.5 Lakh SSC & HSC Students to Appear in Nagpur Division
This year, 1,51,379 students will appear for the SSC examination in the Nagpur division. The district-wise breakup of SSC students is as follows:
- Nagpur district – 58,495 students
- Chandrapur district – 28,120 students
- Bhandara district – 15,463 students
- Wardha district – 16,177 students
- Gadchiroli district – 14,532 students
- Gondia district – 18,592 students
Similarly, 1,58,537 students will appear for the HSC examination across Nagpur division.
Nagpur City Tops in Student Registrations
Nagpur district has the highest number of SSC examinees, with 58,495 students set to appear for the exams. Of these, 31,150 students are from Nagpur city, while 27,361 students belong to Nagpur rural areas.
84 Exam Centers Set Up in Nagpur Division
The Nagpur Divisional Board has arranged 84 examination centers across six districts. The distribution of exam centers is as follows:
- Nagpur district – 25 centers (highest)
- Chandrapur district – 15 centers
- Gadchiroli district – 14 centers
- Wardha district – 11 centers
- Gondia district – 10 centers
- Bhandara district – 9 centers (least)
