Nagpur’s MIHAN Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is set to expand further with the approval of four new companies, increasing the total number of firms operating in the SEZ to 50. These companies have secured space in MIHAN’s W Building and are expected to commence operations within the month.
The approvals were granted during the fourth Unit Approval Committee (UAC) meeting held on January 28, where 12 proposals were reviewed. Of these, five were new applicants, with four receiving immediate approval. One company’s proposal required additional documentation and is expected to be cleared soon.
With a combined investment of ₹4.50 crore, these four companies will generate approximately 170 new jobs in the SEZ. Authorities are continuing efforts to attract more investment and employment opportunities in the region.
Companies Approved for MIHAN SEZ
- Perla IT (Nagpur) – Specializing in computer services, software development, web design, and product management.
- Cloud Science Labs Pvt. Ltd. (Delhi) – Focused on designing and developing cloud-based CRM services.
- People Global Services Pvt. Ltd. (Nagpur) – Providing IT consulting and support services.
- Master Medical Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Nagpur) – Manufacturing medical, surgical, dental, and veterinary instruments.
ADCC’s Investment Proposal Under Review
Meanwhile, Nagpur-based ADCC has proposed an investment of ₹11.64 crore to establish operations in MIHAN-SEZ. However, its proposal is pending approval due to incomplete documentation. The company is expected to resubmit the necessary details soon for final clearance.
Assistant Development Commissioner GS Bhandari confirmed that efforts are ongoing to attract more companies to MIHAN-SEZ, ensuring steady growth in investment and job creation.
