During the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, millions of devotees are taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. Thousands of litters of the holy Sangam waters have been brought to Nagpur to allow those who cannot travel there to experience the sacred waters. On Saturday, February 15, and Sunday, February 16, this water was showered upon devotees in a grand spiritual atmosphere at Reshimbagh Ground.
On Saturday Cultural Affairs Minister of Maharashtra Ashish Shelar attended the event and participated in the Maha Aarti at 1PM. On SaturdayA devotional evening ‘Sangit Sandhya’ featuring renowned singer Kailash Kher was also organized at 6.30 pm onwards
To provide a divine experience to the devotees, the eventorganized by the Valuable Group as part of the grand ‘Maha Kumbh Prayag Yoga and Sangam Jal Abhishek’ eventfeatured cultural programs, devotional music, satsangs, kirtans, bhajans, and spiritual discourses on both the days. Additionally, prominent spiritual leaders from Maharashtra have been conducting Shiva-Shakti Yagya, Sant Paduka and Jalakumbh Abhishek, and the Sacred Water Abhishek. Using modern technology, holy water from Prayagraj was showered upon the devotees who attended the Jal Abhishek event. The spiritual sessions are being held from 9 AM to 9 PM on both days. Organizers Narendra Hete, Ameya Hete and Manjiri Hete have urged devotees to attend the event in large numbers to experience this sacred ritual.
On Saturday, February 15, the ‘Shri Guru Paduka Darshan and Sangam Jal Abhishek Ceremony’ took place. A grand procession, including a chariot carrying sacred Padukas, was conducted from Gajanan Maharaj Temple Chowk to Reshimbagh Ground at 8 AM. From 9 AM to 9 PM, the holy water was showered upon devotees amid the spiritual programs in the background. Spiritual leader and Satsang Foundation founder Sri M also blessed the attendees.
