Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and their children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam are set to move out of their iconic home, Mannat. According to sources, the Khan family will be relocating to a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area.
Why is Shah Rukh Khan leaving Mannat?
The move comes as Mannat’s annexe is set to undergo renovation and expansion for nearly two years. According to a media report, the Bollywood superstar has leased four floors of a luxury apartment in Pali Hill for a staggering ₹24 lakh per month. Sources say each floor has a spacious flat, providing ample room for the Khan family, their security, and staff.
According to reports, the luxury apartment in Pali Hill, which Shah Rukh Khan and his family will be leasing, was built by renowned film producer Vashu Bhagnani.
Shah Rukh Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, has reportedly signed a leave and license agreement with Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh, the co-owners of Puja Casa and children of Vashu Bhagnani.
According to media reports, the Pathaan actor has leased two duplex apartments spanning the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors of the Pali Hill building.
In November last year, Gauri Khan sought approval from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to add two more floors to the Mannat annexe.
