The Maharashtra Government is planning to conduct all MPSC examinations in Marathi medium, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He was replying to a question raised Milind Narvekar in the Legislative Council on Wednesday.
Fadnavis said the examinations for technical posts in engineering and agricultural sciences are not conducted in Marathi as books on the subjects are not available. The books will be made available and the MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) has permitted to conduct the examinations in Marathi medium. The State Government has planned to conduct examinations in Marathi and also make available the books.
