The summer heat has arrived sooner than expected! Nagpur has already crossed the 40°C mark in early March, making residents feel the rising temperatures. On Wednesday, the city recorded a maximum of 40.2°C, a sharp increase of 2.6°C in just 24 hours. The minimum temperature was 19.2°C, offering little relief.
Other cities in Vidarbha are also feeling the heat. Akola was the hottest at 41.3°C, followed by Chandrapur (40.6°C) and Brahmpuri (40.4°C). Amravati, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal also touched 40°C.
With temperatures rising quickly, residents are advised to stay cool, drink plenty of water, and avoid stepping out in the afternoon heat.
