Nagpur is set to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, March 30, with extensive preparations by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) and city police to ensure a smooth and secure visit.

Ahead of the visit, Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Kumar Singhal and Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari inspected the entire route, focusing on security, traffic management, and logistical arrangements.
As per the schedule, PM Modi will arrive at Nagpur Airport and proceed to three key locations—Dr. Hedgewar Smruti Bhavan in Reshimbagh, Deekshabhoomi, and Madhav Netralaya. Given the significance of these locations, security has been heightened.
A high-level coordination effort is underway with senior officials, including Police Joint Commissioner Nisar Tamboli, Additional Police Commissioner Sanjay Patil, and Additional Municipal Commissioner Ajay Charathankar, actively involved in preparations. Representatives from Deekshabhoomi, Madhav Netralaya, and the airport administration have also joined the efforts.
With thousands expected to gather along the route, authorities have implemented traffic diversions, crowd management strategies, and increased surveillance.
